Prequel to "Heart Of ice" and slightly better, or at least, I liked it better. Though --and although both stories are related through the main and some side characters-- it's silly to compare because "The Silver Locke" and "Heart Of Ice" are far too different qua storyline.
Some great dialogue as well --real life stuff, not the shallow chit-chat we encounter so often. Maybe not Pulitzer material, but it sure is refreshing to see someone spend some time and thought about what his characters say to each other.

this is one of my fantasies, to become a paid slut in essence. Felt the author managed to convey the vulnerablity and extreme pleasure that someone wanting that fantasy would feel. (7/10)

Michael! You rewrote and posted your masterwork at last! And it has more promise as we beg additional tales from Silver Locke.
As always, well written and delightful. Among the best authors here. (10/10)
