- Historically accurate?
- I'm glad you liked it, but actually, the story is Quite historically accurate from the Costumes to the name of the Inquisitor. Even the make-up was thoroughly researched. The coach with the mounted drivers is also accurate for the period as is the situation with the servants. They did NOT bathe for the very reasons I stated - They couldn't get the water hot enough to prevent chill - although the Inquisitors that lived in Rome DID bathe. They had access to the antique Roman Furnaces, still in the old palaces - which heated their houses & their water for bathing. Sorry toots - I have a background in Witchcraft and medieval history. (grin)I'm part of the SCA & I have worked for a Rennaissance festival for the past 10 years. Morgan Hawke http://www.darkerotica.net

- Perhaps I should clarify. The costumes and descriptions itself were excellent (You're SCA, I'm former Adrian Empire & SCA :), and even the Dominicans in France was right on target, but the Court of the Spanish Inquisition itself, was created in 1480 and had no authority outside of Spain.

Fing awesome story. The whole scenes are very well described, and her actions in the past are very nicely portrayed, so that I felt like I was there. Lots of fun, and a couple nice twists. Very commendable indeed.I compliment the author, and would be quite prepared to read more of his work. Thanks. (10/10)

Very good story. I especially liked the punishment put on the holy inquisitor, though, I would have preferred something a bit more... gruesome. (9/10)

- I personally think it was better the way the author did it. This way, she survives, and is tortured for the rest of her life, rather than one ... gruesome ... end.
