"2001, A Space Odyssey" you say?... "My God it's full of stars" is also what happens when you have a good orgasm. Sparks bouncing off your brain and drawing condensation stripes across the stratosphere of your mind's eye. Which often has me wondering if Joe Fender misplugged one of his newly designed guitars and called it a Stratocaster as a result. No such thing as crazy talk either. Just mis-interpretations based on a false impression of sanity. I'm the most insane sane person I know. Or vice-versa, depending on where I stand to have a look at myself. I also wonder how many of the first Homo Sapiens killed their ilk when that ilk started to use words, language, because, you know, the 'regular' cavemen thought these ilk barked gibberish. And the Homo Erectus probably appeared only after sex was invented. Before that, sperms migrated on their own --like baby Kangaroos-- in search of the first vagina available. But I digress. I 'liked' your story. It sounds genuine, if there is such a thing. Was well written too, with funny interludes --or at least interludes I thought were funny. If anything, your story proves that "thou shalt not judge" should be practiced more. Read ya. JJ (9/10)

What a terrific story! Definably a different read than what you usually find at this site, but very believable, in a voyeuristic way. The writer says it’s all true (and has several post in this review section and a blog to argue her point) but I’m not sure it matters. As the reader you believe it’s true, and I think that’s what good writing is about. It’s not often I find myself laughing out loud while reading “porn”, but there are some parts that are just too good to not just “read and enjoy”. Very nice. (10/10)

It was really hard to give a grade to this story - at least for individuality of vision, it's worth more, but I'm calling it as I feel it. Besides, there are enough votes so I don't need to give anything as charity. OK, the whole world that's been created by the story, blog, stalker, etc is kick enough - it's one for the voyeurs among us who also feel that 'reality is a crutch', as you put it so perfectly. Unless any of us were going to marry you (which is clearly not on the cards), it doesn't matter what is and is not reality. Just open the package, enjoy the perfectly well made art and watch the show. (8/10)

I have to strike a balance between the barrage of demands for MORE DETAILS FAYE, MORE DETAILS! and keeping some semblance of structure. Some people want a good story to read, and others would really prefer a 60-hour, raw unedited video tape of the whole weekend which they would watch frame by frame (some of these guys literally -- you wouldn't even BELIEVE the emails I get!) -- faye PS thanx for the 10!!!!!!!

An interesting story? Yup, and well-told. As my Mad friend says, it takes a bit to get into, but I enjoyed the heck out of it, BECAUSE it was so unique. Your heroine is an honest person, one who deserves better. Perhaps (some day?) she'll find it. (9/10)

For a "reality' based story you drag your readers out on the ragged edge, and yet you maintain a solid and consistent point of view. Your style is unique but again it's about you and doesn't make it any easier for the reader to follow. Still and all once they get into it (five to seven paragraphs would be my guess) they should be hooked and the story is worth the effort. (8/10)

- One in three reviews has now mentioned my story's disjointed style. If it matters, this was a deliberate decision along with the first person, introspective, conversational point of view to enhance the immediacy of the character's experience. Also, it is intended to provide subjective insight into the confusing, disjointed experience of being autistic (emotionally retarded), yet intelligent and perceptive at the same time.
I write in many different styles, all radically different and all of which I have given names (similar to font names). I do a hilarious mimic of George Will which is indistinguishable from the original, were it not for the outrageous content. My story was written in Extended Boppity, which differs from regular Boppity in that (for instance) more semicolon concatenation is used, the focus of attention shifts with less trigger, and the sentences ramble on longer. Abusive emails about my story are responded to in an abrupt, sarcastic, pseudoanalytical style called Seinfeld. This response is written in Observer. My technical writing is done in Objective Observer. I see the selection of a writing style as being virtually identical to the selection of a font.

An interesting story, one that appeals to many individuals to would like to engage in anonymous, violent, guiltless sex. The writing style is both catchy and disjointed, perhaps to maintain the autistic savant motif. Even with the pleading for believability ("Fake Name") and the inclusion of the White House telephone number (no, I'm not stupid, just curious enough to use a reverse directory,) it kept my interest long enough to go to the Myspace site. I'd read another story "when" you have another interesting weekend. (7/10)

- (Note: this is not a hostile response). I'm curious to know what you mean by "pleading for beliveablilty - fake name". When I originally registered I never intended for my real name to become available, and my real name did not appear in the story becasue I figured I'd get fucked up people stalking me (which did happen, and I'm writing a blog entry about it). But my email address (which includes my real name) was published on the site and I didn't realize it would be, I linked my forum profile to my blog which has my name, and I included my humorous response to an email I received from an outraged lesbian reader in an appendix to the story, and it includes my name too.
The name "Faye Kname" wasn't a cynical attempt to plead for believability; it was a failed attempt to hide my identity. My real name just sort of slid out because I wan;t paying close enough attention and because to me, it isn't really a HUGE big deal. My parents aren't alive, I have no siblings, I have no co-workers (I work online), no meatspace friends, and there is really no one in the world to whom finding out what I did that weekend would be a terrible horrible revelation to me. I don't understand your objection to my initial use of an obvious pseudonym. Again, I'm not contesting, challenging, or even disagreeing with anything; I just want to understand. Thanx! --faye

- Throughout the story and throughout most of your many replies you have referred the weekend as being real. As the Bard once stated "perhaps you protesteth too much." Using too obvious a pen name plus the stunt of the phone number stretches the ability to suspend disbelief. The various forum dispatches and replies point toward a tongue through the cheek attempt to pull everyone's chain. Perhaps this just the way you communicate; I'm more used to dealing with bi-polars and borderlines than autistics. This is NOT a denigration of any brain/emotional dysfunction (it's familia lto me) but the methods of communication are specific for each variation. To me it sounds like you're trying a little too hard. But hey, having an abuse loving, no safeword, anything goes fucktoy is many a man's fantasy. I'm not so sure I could stand the maintenance, though.

The story was disjointed to say the least.. Way too fast in many places, as if the little warm up things arent important, rather offensive in other places with use of derogatory words and name for groups of people. (1/10)

- This is almost certainly the person who emailed me, furious that I had written:
"My rapist didn't use a rubber, but the chance of getting AIDS from a white man who's not a fag or a drug shooter is one in ninety-thousand. A lot of people don't know that because of all the well-intentioned hype by gays". She (a lesbian) cc'd her angry letter to the manager of this site, trying to get my story removed. The definition of a rating of 1 is "writing skills bordering on illiteracy". Given that other raters gave the story a 10, I will leave it to the reader to decide whether the story borders on illiteracy, or if the angry lesbian is lying to you to push "political correctness" onto the stories of BDSMlib. If the latter, is that something you want?

- I totally agree with SimoneLocke that this is a vindictive vote. Once again, certain types of people feel that they have a right to impose their views on others, but then turn around and don't allow the right of free speech. Ironically, the world over, it's increasingly apparent that quite alot of of the so-called "liberal" bleeding hearts type of activists fall into this category, and look at them- do they not MOCK certain sections of the community themselves? Who do they mock? Surely I don't have to tell you. And then what do they produce in the end? A world where certain types of people who think they can get away with it (and do) suck the life force out of those who really do believe in free speech and SELF-EFFORT and hard work, and the RIGHT to PROTECT their own properties- yes, these people get screwed by the liberal do-gooders like this vindictive reviewer. (oh, I'm sooooo going to get flamed for saying all these about 'liberal' bleeding hearts. But hey, you're not 'liberal' at all if you shout for the right of free speech then deny it to others.)
Yes, I did a double take when I read those particular lines that Faye even quoted here. But it's her right to say it. It's her writing. Right, now that I have got that off my ample chest, I'm going to go vote a 10 for this. Thanks, Faye, great piece of unique writing.

- Just a quick note on "Liberal", even though this is not the place for such discussions.
Beware a blanket term such as "Liberal". It's been so sucked of meaning that it can apply to almost anyone now. You have the do-gooders, busybodies, the free speech advocates, the privacy advocates, the surveilance advocates, the "help people get back on their feet", the "everybody has a right to a handout", the dirt munching druids, the "not in my yard", the hippies, the good neighbor, spike a tree for jesus... Even the warmongers are liberals these days.

I read this after your introduction post in the forums as i was facinated to read abut what happened to you real life. I not only loved the content but the way you wrote it too. Like Curtis this particular line was great "I said 'hi' and stared at their linoleum hallway floor. I noticed that the electric outlets were not only unpolarized, but weren't even grounded."!!!! Thank you for sharing your story with us Faye. (9/10)

- God, I LOVE to hear that! I have literally rubbed the nub to orgasm while reading my story and thinking intensely about some anonymous guy somewhere doing the same thing at the same time. When I think about guys doing that while reading what was done to me, it gives me a feeling of deep excitement because I truly feel like I am being degraded and humiliated all over again for strange men's selfish physical pleasure. As silly as it sounds, I'm sincere when I say "thank you for using me", it arouses me more than you can ever imagine.

- Awww, thanx, takarada! So many people have emailed demanding more details that I wrung my memory out like a washcloth and expanded the story to include every detail I could remember. Since I didn't want to just make stuff up to pad the story, I had to balance the completeness which feeds peoples' leering, prurient obsession and helps them masturbate, against including too many boring details which detract from the story and make their clits and dicks go soft. I hope I struck the correct balance. Thanx!!

I wrote it; do I get to vote too? Let's see, how should I vote... ============= My form letter: Dear person who liked my story on bdsmlib: Hi! First of all, I am overwhelmed by the number of nice emails I got (at last count, elevendy-sevendy zillion). Unfortunately I can't answer each one individually . In fact, since I have to paste this response into each one, I probably won't even be able to do THAT after a while. I never looked at the numbers for other stories. and I figured maybe in a year, 10 or 20 people would read mine. In the first day, 4,785 people read it. that's one person EVERY EIGHTEEN SECONDS. God! Your questions answered: 1) yes, yes, it really happened. I didn't embellish it either. When I started writing it, I didn't even know I was going to put it online or show it to anyone. tHOUGH IT'S ALL LITERALLY TR god damn caps lock! Though it's all true, I emphasized the stuff that I thought sounded sexy and left out the un-sexy stuff. For instance I was only suspended upside down for about 20 seconds. And when I was suspended by my wrists they gave me breaks several times for the circulation, but I didn't include that in the story. There's other little omissions too. But modulo that, it all happened. I forgot to mention in the story that mostly, they used handcuffs instead of rope. 2) no I'm not interested in writing another story, because it would have to be fiction and I'm not creative in that way because the story wouldn't be "bound" to anything (so to speak), like an experience. I can't just make stuff up out of nothing. For instance, I can do technical writing because it's bound to the underlying device or software I'm writing about. 3) West Virginia 4) I never saw any of those people again, though I talked to Diana on the phone a few times. 5) no offense, but I'm not really interested in reading your fantasies. Not because they're perverted (which is GOOD), but because they're FANTASIES: --> "Don't DREAM it, BE it". Go out and DO that stuff; don't tell ME about it!! Though I admit, some of you write really well. Send that stuff to BDSMlib, not just to ME!! 6) Though I'm sure you're a nice guy (or in one case a GIRL(!)), I don't want to meet anyone for a "play session", but mainly because I don't want to meet anyone at all, for any reason. I LIKE being alone and I can't STAND humans! no offense... I do like my cat, if that helps! ...Although thinking about it, the idea of being dominated by another GIRL is REAL sexy! Hmmm... I never even considered it. Diana just sort of sat and watched and wasn't even there most of the time. I'm going to think about that (while I'm rubbin' the nubbin!) If I ever do it, I promise to write about it! 7) I haven't had sex since that weekend or go on dates or hardly talk to people at all. I masturbate a lot though. I like to watch videos I download from pirate sites like eMule of REAL people doing REAL stuff. I *hate* watching fake moaning and whore makeup and the girl wearing shoes (what's with THAT??) and the guy pulling out before he cums. I hate that FAKE shit: "I'm just driving down the street with my camcorder and walking up to beautiful women on the street who suddenly decide to come to my place and fuck in front of a camera with a strange man, using no protection, and amazingly, it happens once a week". or: videos of real girls at mardi gras pulling up their shirts mixed with fuck videos made in a hotel with a whore or: videos of college kids having a beer party mixed with fuck videos made in a hotel with a whore or: "I put an ad in the paper to sell my refrigerator, and everyone who comes to look at it is a beautiful woman who eagerly strips naked and does a sex show for a website, for free, without signing a release form" Uggh! The only porn I like is two kinds: a) submissive women being restrained and tortured for REAL, like the french and german stuff. I like to pretend it's me. Everything made here in america is lame fake BULL shit.. especially the porn. Insex and paingate and hogtied TRY to do a good job, but they're constrained by the fact that bondage "models" aren't real people who are really submitting to anything. They're just nude dancers and whores trying to make more money than in their real jobs. So instead of showing the girl being hurt and crying, they necessarily have to focus on fetish aspects like too much rope, complex knots, leather clothes, ridiculous underwear, and ridiculous bondage positions. They use safewords to insure that what will happen is safe, sane, and all scripted ahead of time. I like it UNsafe and INsane! b) I also am fascinated by videos of a married couple having ordinary, silent face-to-face sex in their bedroom. God! How can they DO that, be naked with another person alone in a room? Isn't it EMBARRASSING? How can they be married, or even go on dates? For that matter, how do other people talk so casually on the telephone or talk to strangers in bars or the street? Why isn't everyone else horribly shy too? GOD, I have NO idea at all! Oh well. 8) no I don't have a web site. I don't really have anything to put on it. I did make this page, but it's not about me: http://67.102.243.28/_vti_txt (editor: it's not commercial, doesn't request money, is not part of a site, doesn't link to other sites, and isn't in google because nothing points to it. It's just a funny page I made one night that other weird, sick people would like). And you can also look at my myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/150103974 Later, == techno faye, who says techno "hey!" (10/10)
