Well, its happened. I never thought I would read a female c.p. story that left me cold. However this one did it. I can't really put my finger on where the problem is. For one thing the story doesn't really seem to build in the way it should (although if you would outline it you would find that it showed classical progression). I guess that the problem is that the writing is just flat. The girl has no personality, the farmer has no personality, the boyfriend has no personality and I just don't seem to give a shit about any of them. There is plenty of "action" in the story but the action is flat. That is it is colorless and just doesn't give any flavor of what is going on. Sorry, to give such a negative review without any suggestions for improvement. The plot has great potential to be one of those really "dark" tales but it just doesn't seem to spark and sizzle. (4/10)

- Well, let's see. There're misspellings, a severe dearth of commas, and many, many sentences with words missing. Smells like a '4' to me!
