Editor’s Forward to the Issue
In this issue of the CFDJ we continue our series of the Christian Discipline Diaries, one of our most popular features. We return again to the Holiness Church in the Piney Woods of East Texas. This set of Diary entries differs from last months installment in that we see four differing points of view of the same event, the Sunday Afternoon Stern Chastisements. We begin to see the different spectrum of Female Disciplinary needs and how local Evangelicals adapt their Disciplines to their local conditions and circumstances. Practical example is always the best exemplification of theory I say. The communists never seem to understand this and this is why their system failed. The Papists understand this and this is why their system, particularly with its tolerance of the mixing of the races, is so dangerous to us.
Two points should be observed in this lead article. The first concerns the reality that my theoretical division of Chastisements into three categories is absurd. The second concerns the use of Sexual Congress as a Disciplinary Tool. The experiences of our Brothers and Sisters in East Texas show how practical example always trumps theory when it comes to the Perfection of the female.
Upon many occasions I have been asked which is the superior Implement of Chastisement. It is always expected that the reply will be the “Norcod” whip. This is not true. Chastisement is a spectrum far more complicated that a simple division into Home, Stern and Severe. Implements are more complex than strap, switch and whip. This article beautifully exemplifies the severity that can be accomplished in a Stern Church Chastisement. Martha’s Chastisement began on Saturday with her Weekly Home Chastisement. Her buttocks, thighs, breasts and PPP were strapped to the extraordinary degree described in the May issue of this Journal. Her Sunday Stern Church Chastisement, described in this issue of the Journal causes as much physical damage as many whippings. This is because of the thoroughly bruised condition of her backside to begin with and the vigorous application of a thin triple switch. As a result the swollen skin of her buttocks was cut by the switches so severely that she spent the next five days on her belly in bed. Martha is obviously well along in her road to Perfection. Mary, on the other hand also underwent a Stern Church Chastisement. Her preparation the night before was no more than a half dozen slaps with a light strap, scarcely enough to bruise. On Sunday Mary was given twelve light strokes with the rod on what amounted to a “virginal” backside. Mary has hardly set her first foot on the Road to Perfection. The Gulf of Lazarus lies between these two.
Similarly, this issue brings up the role that Sexual Congress can play in obtaining S.O.D. There is no greater example of Submission and Obedience of a Wife to her Husband than her Obeying his instructions as to the type of activity demanded in Sexual Congress. When a Wife achieves Perfection she becomes the complete slave to her Husband. Although Martha is well along in the Road to Perfection she still has much to learn about S.O.D. as described herein. Congregants in the Lapsed Christian Faiths are often shocked when they learn of what a Strict Observance Husband may demand of his Wife or the Women who he is responsible for. But I can assure you from my own personal experience that in Sexual Congress lies the ultimate tests of Perfection.
