Editor’s Forward to the Issue
In this issue of the CFDJ we continue our series of the Christian Discipline Diaries, one of our most popular features. These are reports from our congregations who are out there spreading the Word of the Strict Observance Bible Evangelical Church of Christ exemplifying Submission, Obedience and Discipline in an UnGodly world. The best way to learn the principles of S.O.D. and the ultimate guide to Chastisements in the Home, School and Church is though my Manual and its related booklets. But for carrying out the program there is nothing like practical examples. Therefore this series of monthly publications. Furthermore, in the Tradition of the Evangelical Church, Testimonials are the central point of our evangelization. A Pastor may stand at the podium all day and deliver the finest homily but it is the practical example of the leaders of the congregation that moves the mass of the congregation. The delivery of these examples should start in the Church with Church Chastisements, move through our Female Academies with the School Chastisements for our Daughters and their Mothers and spread through the community with our Home Chastisements of our girls and women. Only though example and demonstration will the evils of Feminism, Secular Liberalism, Women’s Liberation, and the Child Abuse Prevention Network be overcome. At present we traditional Strict Observance Evangelicals are a small minority of America. But because of the Grace of God and the Fear of the Lord we are the fastest growing minority.
The lead article in this issue is from East Texas, one of the Godliest places in America. The Piney Woods of Texas, and in particular the area from Vidor to Jasper has been highly successful in battling the inroads of Godless Secular Liberalism. The fore-guard of the UnGodly, the Papists and Jews, fear to settle in this region and those of inferior races know their places. Every day the members of the wishy-washy Churches of the Wimps like Episcopalians, Methodists and Presbyterians leave their weak-kneed congregations and come over to the Strict Observance of the Bible. A good example is the Smithers family. For years they belonged to an Evangelical congregation that had fallen away from Strict Observance. Wives were no longer Submissive and Obedient. They were wearing pants as if they were Husbands. Discipline in the Home was not being observed. Daughters were taking up UnGodly ways, dating and wearing shorts in public. Then in 1994 a new Pastor came to the Holiness Church and together with the example of his wife he has been restoring the Godly Way of Submission, Obedience and Discipline. The Smithers tell, through their diaries, the way in 1996 they brought their females back to Strict Observance of the Bible. At first this was hard on Suzzanne Smithers and hard on their three Daughters. But Henry their Pastor and Martha, Henry’s Wife soon helped Dominic Smithers to restablish control over his home and bring Suzie to the Fear of the Lord. This is not to say that everything done at the Holiness Church is in Perfect accordance with my manual and booklets. For No Christian is Perfect but every Christian should be Working on Perfection and for the female Perfection is only reached through Chastisement, particularly Severe Chastisement.
Future issues of the Christian Female Discipline will return to the Holiness Church as they spread the Good News Gospel of Submission, Obedience and Discipline.
