Marigold's Academy for Wayward Girls is a school like no other. OStensibly establised to provide a strong moral education for girls whose behaviour was found wanting, in reality it was a haven for powerful and perverted teachers to satisfy their own lust and indulge that of their rich and influential friends. Far from being deficient themselves, many of the girls were there as part of the settling of scores or debts of their families. The various aspects of school life are examined through the eyes of individual girls, each of whom has her own chapter. |

- Thanks for another good review.
I am continually surprised, and delighted at how populat this story has become. So much so that I have had to put my other current story on hold and use all my writing time on Marigold's.
I am trying to make the chapters a bit longer and more detailed. Believe me, when you are writing it feels long, but looks much shorter when you read it or see it on the screen.
The next chapter is well under way now. It moves into territory which I have never covered in any story, and might not be to everybody's taste, so there will be a caveat at the start.
I will confine those themes to that chapter, since it is in a different vein to the rest of the story and I don't want to lose readers who have been following it.
Subsequent chapters will be more conventional.
Watch this space.

A fine beginning to what has potential to be a long, exciting story. Well written and holds one's attention.

- Thank you very much for your comments. This is my second story on the board. My first received a fairly lukewarm response and in this one I am trying to take account of some of the suggestions made about the other. I am really, really encouraged by the response to this one so far and it will certainly grow. I am already well advanced on chapter 3, which I hope to complete in the next few days. I have a lot of ideas for developments and I can't wait to type them out. I'm really enjoying writing this (and thinking about it when I can't write) and I am so glad that it is turning out to be so popular.
